Nature and Wildlife

Fen Lodge is situated just two miles from RSPB Minsmere, resulting in a range of bird watching opportunities. Birds that you are likely to be see from the huts include barn owls, egrets, buzzards, wagtails and, if you're lucky, kingfishers by the water at the end of the meadow. The meadow itself contains a diverse range of wild flowers and meadow grasses which attracts many butterflies. To find out more the button below will take you to the RSPB website.
